Welcome to Legacy’s Loft, the new haven for the literary and performance arts community. Legacy’s Loft L3C is a community based literary arts café and artist development center. Our mission is to fulfill the vision of Chantay “Legacy” Leonard by providing education, empowerment, enlightenment and enrichment to the emerging literary artist community in the city of Detroit. We are dedicated to developing and exhibiting world class artists for the uplifting of youth and adults. Legacy’s will provide a “stabilizing hub” for emerging talent. We are in pursuit of a “Detroit Aesthetic” that raises the bar of the Literary Arts scene across the map.

You are seated in the sanctuary of a warm, inviting bohemian style atmosphere in the heart of the city where the aroma of specialty teas and lattes are brewing in the air. Our musings will include a select menu of home baked goods, soups and sandwiches to please your palate and warm your heart. Add to that, a stellar collection of books available for you to peruse while you relax, dine and unwind.
